John shares the importance of recognizing sin for what it is, a cancer. It doesn’t stay contained. We cannot look at sin and pretend it’s not a big deal. It spreads and grows until it brings us to death. Sin invades our lives to do the will of its master, to steal, kill and destroy. We cannot look at sin and make excuses any more. Jesus paid the ultimate price to save us from ultimate destruction and we must share that truth to help others do the same.
