John shares the importance of God’s word in our lives. His laws are not to be spiteful or full of vengeance towards us for sinning. They are a reminder of His character that shows His love for us by putting laws in place to protect us, not trap us. Spending time in His word daily will draw us closer to Him and open our hearts to his good purpose for our lives.
